C&D2’s first draft is done!
Matthew P. Schmidt My BlogAs the title suggests, I just finished the first draft of C&D's sequel. I have been struggling for so long to complete this, and now... IT'S FINALLY DONE!!! What's next? God willing, this: I'm going to give my brain a break from...
What to the Modern White Guy is “What to the Slave is the Fourth of July?”?
I have always been inspired by the story of Fredrick Douglass, a slave who escaped slavery to become a renowned orator and author. His is not the story of a man who was second-rate, shooed into the spotlight only for his relative accomplishments compared to his past. What use would that be? Signal Boost: SINGULARITY SUNRISE!
A shameless plug for someone else.
Read the book. Just listened to audiobook. Liked reading it myself better. Just my own perspective (blue crystal vs. red). This was just to get a re-fix and review while pacing the floor waiting for your C&D2 burnout to catch fire again and the sequel to release. Get some fan collaboration if needed. Late nights with coffee (or drink of choice) are always good for idea-generating brainstorms. Maybe use current self-isolation (“social distancing”) from the virus as premise in your new storyline (modified ‘enough’ like you did with Ezekiel in C&D1). Will continue to pace. 🙂
Just finished reading C&D for a second time. I’m glad to find out you’re making a #2. It was very enjoyable.
Ezekiel? Now that’s a grim book.
